My friend Sean said the craziest thing he ever heard is that if, to us, light travels for a year … to the light it would be like no time at all has passed by.

I guess this is because light is like the base. The faster you travel close to it, the slower time goes for others not at that speed.

I was thinking about it this week after reading that scientists are discovering particles traveling faster than the speed of light. I have no idea how they test this but I wonder what it means for Einstein’s ideas. Very interesting stuff.
